The Chris Westwood Charity provides help to fund for mobility, sensory and vision equipment for children and young people up to the age of 25, who live within a 50-mile radius of Stourbridge.

The charity was founded more than 20 years ago by Chris Westwood and provides financial help to children and their families when there are no other sources of funding available.
Jan Jennings, on behalf of the Richardson Brothers Foundation, said: “The Chris Westwood Charity for children with physical disabilities does tremendous work providing specialist equipment, proposed by health professionals. In many cases families would not be able to buy the specialist equipment their children need, which is when this wonderful charity steps in.
"The Foundation is pleased to be able to support their work that makes such a positive difference to children’s lives."
Chris Westwood, founder of the charity, said: “The charity provides help so that every child and young person has a chance to reach their own maximum potential and are not held back by lack of resources.
"We aim to operate at zero costs so every penny raised goes to the children and families in need and we are very grateful to the Richardson Brothers Foundation for their donation, which will go towards the purchase of specialist equipment."
