Man arrested at Birmingham Airport and firearm recovered in Wednesbury
Two men have been arrested and a firearm recovered in Sandwell by police acting on intelligence.

A 33-year-old man was arrested at Birmingham Airport on Wednesday morning on suspicion of possession of a firearm, with a subsequent search of a house on Booth Road in Wednesbury uncovering a handgun and ammunition.
A 57-year-old man was also arrested on suspicion of possession of a firearm, with both men remaining in custody for questioning.
A spokesman for West Midlands Police said: "Two men have been arrested as we’ve recovered a firearm from an address in Sandwell.
"Acting on intelligence, a 33-year-old man was arrested at Birmingham Airport this morning on suspicion of possession of a firearm.
"Officers then searched an address on Booth Road, Wednesbury where we recovered a converted handgun and ammunition.
"A second man, a 57-year-old, was also arrested on suspicion of possession of a firearm.
"Both men remain in custody for questioning.
"Anyone with information about serious and organised crime in their neighbourhood, should report it to us via 101.
"In case of an emergency, dial 999.
